Full Stack Developer | Freelance (Globodiseños, Workana, Upwork)
Delivering web solutions for when you need it done right, and right now.
Overview
As a freelance developer, you're the CTO, the senior dev, and the sysadmin all rolled into one. I built full-stack apps for clients who usually had a vague idea and a tight deadline. I managed everything from the first conversation to the final production deployment.
Challenges
- Wearing All the Hats: I had to switch between completely different stacks (LAMP, MERN) depending on what the client needed.
- Doing It All: Architecture, coding, testing, DevOps—there was no one else to hand off to.
- Client Translation: Taking a client's "I want a Facebook for cats" and turning it into actual technical requirements.
Solution
Frontend Development: I built interactive interfaces using React and Angular. I cared about the code quality, even if the client only cared about what it looked like.
Infrastructure: I didn't just write the code; I configured the Linux servers to run it. I wanted to be sure the environment was solid.
Results
- Repeat Business: I kept my ratings high and clients came back because I delivered what I promised, usually ahead of schedule.
- Diverse Portfolio: I built everything from custom social networks and real estate portals to SaaS dashboards.
- Learning by Doing: This is where I really learned the full stack. If something broke, I was the only one who could fix it.
